Join international teacher Sandra Bruce for a two-day workshop on her technique, “Material Matrix.” Inspired by the painter, Chuck Close, this technique involves using a gridded photograph and interpreting each 2-inch square into fabric, using piecing to achieve the effect. In class we will make the featured design, “Wake Up Cup,” and you will learn the skills needed to apply this technique to your own photo.
