In this class taught at the home of local long arm quilter Donna Fear, you will learn a short history of shibori indigo dying and how it works.  Donna will demonstrate the different methods of folding, twisting, wrapping and tying along with some new advanced dying techniques.

This is a hands-on class where you will be doing your own shibori indigo dying.  It’s so much fun to create fabulous designs in this distinctive blue color.

By the end of class, you will be a pro! You will have created several pieces of indigo fabric suitable for piecing into a quilt or for other projects. You are also welcome to dye a t-shirt to take home and show off what you learned.

Mandatory kits will include all PFD cotton fabric, gloves, indigo booklet and container to take your indigo fabric home (T shirt not included, please bring your own)
